Farm Fresh Catering utilizes many different small suppliers to carefully source as many organic and high quality products as possible.

Working Relationships with local farmers and the Great Basin Community Food Co-op enable Farm Fresh to offer local and seasonal fare to create unique custom menu ideas for that special Farm to Table Wedding or Gathering.

Farm Fresh Catering believes in supporting more sustainable farming practices and takes great pride in the fact that over 90% of our ingredients are certified USDA Organic and Non GMO.

Students with healthy & nutritious hot lunch choices will maximize their potential in the classroom, and the same goes for the Adults.

Owners Chris Taylor and Ximena Acuna have worked together for over 14 years, and in 2015 Partnered with High Desert Montessori School to offer a progressive organic lunch program to a few of Reno’s private & charter schools.

In this business adventure Ximena has been able to utilize her culinary background to create delicious recipes for office parties and private/corporate events, and Chris works on building the systems that will enable this school lunch program to be efficiently streamlined and expandable to larger populations of children.

Their shared passion is to feed people real food, made from simple, natural ingredients.

Farm Fresh has been a wonderful addition to the HDMS community. As a health conscious teacher and parent, I feel it is imperative that children eat healthy and organic food for optimal development. Farm Fresh has not only offered healthy organic food but, also delicious food, I often feel like I am eating gourmet restaurant. It speaks volumes when the adults willingly choose to eat the same lunch as the children. I also love to see the children’s awareness and appreciation for eating healthy blossom. I had many children who would not touch a dark leafy green salad. Now, they are proud of eating salad and are more willing to try a variety of food. Chris and Ximena always cook with love and have a positive attitude. We are thankful to have them at HDMS.
